Augusto César de Souza Lima (born July 19, 1958), better known as Augusto CSL, is a Brazilian journalist and writer who has been working in the media industry for over four decades. He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and started his career as a journalist at the age of 22.

CSL began his career by working as a reporter for various newspapers in Brazil, including "O Globo" and "Estadação." In 1986, he joined "UOL," where he worked until 2017. During his time at "UOL," he served as the editor-in-chief of the newspaper's business section and later became its managing director.

In addition to his work at "UOL," CSL has also written several books on topics such as politics, economics, and social issues. Some of his most popular works include "O Brasil de Minhas Mãos" (The Brazil I Know) and "A Festa da Dívida: Como o Brasil Vai Pagar o Imposto de Renda em 2014" (The Party of Debt: How Brazil Will Pay Income Tax in 2014).
